Hyundai Gives the 2013 Genesis Coupe a Boost in Performance

The 2012 Detroit Auto Show can't seem to come soon enough, and everyone here at Signature VW Hyundai is counting down the days! The reason behind out excitement is the fact that our favorite South Korean automaker is planning to show off a new, redesigned version of the Genesis Coupe for the 2013 model year.

There has been a lot of speculation about the performance-driven Hyundai model, and up until recently, we had only a few leaked photographs with which to decipher what changes were in store for it next year. Now, however, industry insiders are reporting some solid numbers to go along with the face-lift that's been circling the web.

More specifically, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is gaining a boost to both horsepower and torque, as well as an all-new eight-speed automatic transmission. This is a huge leap in the right direction for the vehicle's performance, and the fact that the company also opted to include a six-speed manual gearbox as an option proves that they're dedicated to fulfilling the needs of drivers of all types.

Of course, if you really can't wait that long to get your hands on the redesigned model, you could always take the current 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe for a test drive at 2203 NW Broad St Murfreesboro, TN 37129 today. We can be easily reached online or by phone at (877) 806-8934, and we're happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding specific new Hyundai models, such as the Hyundai Tucson, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Hyundai Sonata, as well as  about the lineup of used cars that we carry too.
