Production of Volkswagen Bulli Microbus Concept Supported by VW CEO

Remember that Bulli microbus concept that debuted last year that the Geneva Motor Show? A lot of people liked it, including Jonathan Browning, CEO of Volkswagen of America. Browning said that the Bulli concept tops his list of "unfunded projects he'd like to see in production."
The Bulli combines elements of the 1950's VW Type 2 Transporter and another Volkswagen Microbus concept from 2001. The concept combines aspects of both past and present to create a model much smaller than either of its inspirations. The Bulli is small enough, in fact, to compete with the likes of the Scion xB, Nissan Cube, and the Kia Soul without steeling market share from the ever popular Volkswagen Routan.
